I think this is a big market! Just pay $500 upfront and get 3 years of free newspaper, magazines and whatever books. Also a SD slot + music + video play to carry media and a sim card slot => I think i would buy it even for $1000!
Newspaper bill – Rs 3 * 365 * 3 = Rs.3600 ($900!)
Can after three years – I anyway want to upgrade my hardware and software!
What are your thoughts?

one order off – its $100 for ONE Newspaper. Then say you would like TWO newspaper (general + biz).
4 Magazines? – $100 for each.
Then 2 books a month. $20 / book. can have a buffer concept.
i.e per year.
Newspapers {2} – $200
Magazines {4} – $400
Books {20} – $400
With content in place. I think they might as well open the APIs and charge for content. Forget the Hardware aspect of things. I think they are greedy. ;P

I think it’s inevitable. Kindle like devices will be common place in a decade or two. Technology will evolve, but getting content will be a problem if the print industry is in a constant state of denial like the music and movie industries.
